Following the September 11th tragedy the FAA has instituted a new policy for commercial airlines.  Every 15 minutes a camera mounted in the cockpit will automatically take a picture of the flight deck.  This will detect any intruders as well as assure the pilots are safe, awake and at their posts. The attached picture is one of the first to be made public.
